Here's your handy cut-out-and-keep guide to the events of May 2013.
In the news...
4th May.SuperStats now includes a new Recent Words section header, with Most Offered and Most Missed breakdowns for the last 6 months only.
5th May. One of the most exciting new things we've launched for ages: enter the Super Gym! This is a new solo play mode in which apterous analyses your entire game history and identifies words that you've particularly struggled with in the past, then sets up personalised rounds to test you on. It's really quite fun. I'm sure you'll all have plenty of feature requests for other things we could do with this, so rest assured that there's plenty more in the pipeline. Enjoy! (PS: Due to the huge amount of personal analysis this feature requires, you'll need SuperStats to play.)
11th May. The end-of-game update now includes a link to retry a Star if you lose, or to play the next one if you win!
17th May. Games now record whether they went to a tiebreak. This has been backdated to the last one million (!) games as much as we could (there are probably some mistakes, but nothing too terrible). This is the beginning of much better handling of tiebreak games sometime in the future.
27th May. The in-game player profile has been redesigned to look less rubbish, and now also includes games in progress as well as recent finished games.
28th May. The individual tournament pages have been substantially revamped. For tournament players, they're mostly just a bit prettier. For tournament organizers, you can now: stop taking new sign-ups whenever you want; manually mark a tournament round as completed (so you don't have to wait til the end date); accept any number of sign-ups in just two clicks thanks to the handy "tick all" functionality. Neat!
