Jon Stitcher Thank you mr Plum for being worse against me than against Gevin or Thomas!
Gevin Chapwell Luckily for me, me overall total is higher than Thomas Carey's, putting him in the danger zone below me. But I've just seen that everyone on 150 is now officially safe. I would have been surprised to see anyone go out on 150 in this round.

Gevin Chapwell Cappleman is safe.
Sean Fletcher Well that's frustrating. Game froze on 5 rounds forcing me to give up. To be fair I only had 3 of them and the others would have been made up as I went along. Would have been enough to put me through though. Oh well, it's been fun. Thanks for organising Matthew. I look forward to the next one.
Matthew Tassier That's very unfortunate Sean. Not quite confirmed out yet. Glad you've enjoyed it!
Sean Fletcher It happens, just wish it hadn't then :( Good luck to the survivors

Gevin Chapwell Unlucky Sean. If you do go out, at least it means you've got more time for some preseason training for the next one!
Sean Fletcher Very funny
Norm Ahmad Well that all went a bit pear-shaped in the last few rounds! Well done chaps.
Matthew Tassier Unlucky, Norm. Was looking good until then. Great game from this round's Strongest Link Callum as he regains the highest total score position from Jack again. Also, thanks to everyone for keeping the tournament going at a good paste. First time we've completed a round before the next one is released. Round 18 will be available tomorrow.
Matthew Tassier Narrow escape for one of the strongest performers in the tournament so far, Thomas Cappleman survives to fight another day. So, Norm and Sean you are the Weakest Links. GOODBYE! |
Notes from the organizer: Round seventeen will be played in Instant format against Apterous Plum. No thinking time, it's straight to the input interface with every round being solvable. Plum prefers six small numbers but doesn't often tend to solve them himself!
The two lowest scoring players in this round will leave the tournament. If there is a tie for lowest scores then margin of victory/defeat will be taken into account amongst tied players followed, if necessary, by total score in the tournament so far (see notes by matches).
Good luck!
