Johnny Canuck Whenever he plays against ME, Waldorf goes on steroids. I'm convinced of it.
Elliott Mellor Strongly advise 1l in aegilops...
Eoin Jackson This round needed a nice low score in it so that those yet to play can breathe a little easier!

Matthew Tassier All change at the top of the cumulative score chart with Ben and Strongest Link Chris both leapfrogging Zarte by getting within a point of a max game.

Matthew Tassier And it's thanks to Eoin for kindly holding up the scoreboard, and unlucky to Jon W missing out by a single point after failing to score in his last 2 rounds. So, Eoin and Jon you are the Weakest Links, Goodbye!
Jon Wilford The pressure must have got to me at the end there! Thanks Matthew for organising, was a highly enjoyable tourney as last year.
Eoin Jackson This tournament is the best thing on Apterous, Disappointed to be out of it, but I crumbled under the pressure. It was bound to happen sooner or later.

Matthew Tassier Thanks guys, glad you enjoyed it. Another of these will run at the start of next year, keep an eye out for other tourneys in the meantime.
Eoin Jackson *puts to bed any vain hope that this might be bi-annual. ;)

Notes from the organizer: Round fourteen is to be played in Aegilops format against Apterous Waldorf. Aegilops is similar to normal except that large numbers may take any value in the range 11-99 and stepdown scoring is used. Waldorf likes to choose one large number. You may prefer two.
The two lowest scoring players in this round will leave the tournament. If there is a tie for lowest scores then margin of victory/defeat will be taken into account amongst tied players followed, if necessary, by total score in the tournament so far (see notes by matches).
Down to 21 players now from 49 starters, so well done on making it this far!
Ran from: 24 February – 9 March 2017. Format: Aegilops Numbers Attack. Matches: One-off. Approved.
Fixtures: 23. Completed: 23.
Key. Green: winner. Red: loser. Grey: tie. (Stripes: provisional, match in progress.)
