Notes from the organizer: Event 7 is our first multi-sport event of the games, the Modern Pentathlon. A strange mashup, but a very fun format featuring a cross country pistol shooting race at the end, because obviously.
In the aptolympic version, you will play the following 5 rounds:
1 - Shooting - Numbers attack (standard scoring) vs Prune. Your points total is your score for the game.
2 - Fencing - Single conundrum. Here you go head to head against the other competitors. Around 10 points will be awarded per win (depends on entry numbers)
3 - Swimming - Junior 15 (Maxes only) vs Prune. Here you'll score 10* the number of maxes you attained.
4 - Showjumping - Unlimited 15 (Stepdown scoring) vs Prune. Here your points total is your score for this game.
5 - Running - Normal letters, first to 250 vs Prune. Here your start times will be staggered based on your performance in earlier events, with each point you are behind the leader equating to 1 second. You will start your 'run' when I say to go in aptochat.
The first three players to finish the run will each take 5 gold, silver or bronze medals! This will be the second event of the games to finish, meaning the winner of the event will take the overall lead!
To enter this tournament, simply sign-up in Aptochat this evening from 7:30-8pm, before we start the tournament at 8pm.
*Signing up on this page doesn't mean anything, this page is merely here to advertise the event & for me to track all the medals in one place afterwards*
