Germany’s first golds of the competition see them reach the top half of the table and likely safety from the imminent nationality reshuffle. Some very high quality games with crucials galore! We’re now a third of the way through Aptolympics!

Tourney round: Aptolympics 2020: Event 40: Kumite Karate

<< Event 39: Marathon | Event 41: Coxless Eight >>

Notes from the organizer: Event 40 is a live Goatdown Jnr tournament. Goatdown Jnr was chosen as if Kumite, one of the forms of Karate, comes up in your Goatdown Jnr selection, there's one valid choice (C) to give a 7.

This event is worth a whopping 8 medals, so well worth participating in. I imagine a lot of games may go down to the con, so it's anyone's game!

Fun fact: Karate comes from two words: “kara” meaning empty, and “te” meaning hand. That’s because karate is a martial art that focuses on hand-to-hand combat rather than the use of weapons.

To enter this tournament, simply sign-up in Aptochat this evening from 7:30-8pm, before we start the tournament at 8pm.

*Signing up on this page doesn't mean anything, this page is merely here to advertise the event & for me to track all the medals in one place afterwards*
