Dave Robjohns 3 weeks left to get games done, folks.

Dave Robjohns

Dave Robjohns Just one week left in this season's league. If you haven't already, now is a good time to aptomail your opponents - copy me in and if there's little attempt to organise the game you'll probably be awarded the win.

Anthony Endsor

Anthony Endsor I realise I'm probably favourite for automatic relegation now, but I would really like to see all games played if possible.

Anthony Endsor Dave, what is the first criteria for position in a tied points situation? Is it Head to Head, or overall points difference? The reason I ask is, I have played all my games in the division, whereas Paul has 2 games unplayed against James and Thomas, games which, had I not played myself would have meant my points difference would have been slightly better than Paul's, effectively meaning I have been penalised for actually playing, although if the criteria is Head to Head, I actually lost against Paul, in which case my relegation would be easier to accept. Thanks.

James Haughton

James Haughton I can't speak for the game against Tom, but I'd say between me and Paul, the fault lies much more with me with regards to our game not being played. I've not been on Apterous a lot the past 6 weeks and I've played most of my games in the last few days.

This doesn't really answer your question, though. It is a more important discussion with regards to the awarding of penalty point(s), so I'd thought I would mention it anyway.

Dave Robjohns When points are tied, the table is configured to look at points difference next.

I understand your point and it's frustrating that unfortunately the only perfect way to get a league table right is for everyone to play their games :(

Paul did aptomail Tom last week to try and organise the game and would be awarded 3 points for it, although it makes no impact to the table so I've left as is.

I'm going to make a compromise though to sort this out and as I'm not particularly keen to be promoted this season (I won't have much time to practice so will get battered XD ) I'm putting both of you in the playoffs and removing me, the winner of the 4 will join Oliver in D2, the other three players will be in D3.

Anthony Endsor

Anthony Endsor Thanks for that Dave. Sorry to put you in this situation. If you want, I am happy to play you in a play off for a play off spot game if this would be a fairer way. It's up to you but thanks for sorting this. :)

Dave Robjohns Div 2 sees Ronan promoted back to the top tier with some lethal conundrum speed in the crucials. Tom and James still in the hunt to join him. Nobody relegated as of yet, due to a slight alteration in the rules

The stats:
89% - games played
136 - HS (Ronan)
5 - most 9s (Tom)
67 - most maxes (Martin)
3 - most crucial wins (Ronan)
2 - most crucial losses (Anthony, Ian)
5 - most centuries (Martin)

Best of luck all in Season 4!

Tourney round: AptoLeague: S3 Division 2

<< S3 Premier League | S3 Division 3 >>

Notes from the organizer: Division 2 drops back to having 8 players this season. We see Tom Carey relegated from D1 after winning the title in the first season, and current TV octochamp Ian Volante promoted from D3 via the playoffs.

You'll have 6 weeks to play these games, before a 2 week period to do playoffs. Good luck!
