Notes from the organizer: So, two rounds down, and 16 players remain.
Well, actually, 15 players remain. Brett Davids and Damian McEvoy have made, as far as I can see, no effort to get their game done. So I've yeeted them both. And as the highest-ranked player left in the competition, I've given Thomas Carey a bye to make the numbers work.
John Beresford withdrew from the competition, so Edward Ashcroft progresses. Discounting this "game", there were 3 (technical) upsets as James Robinson, Keith C Williams, and Steven Oldham beat higher-ranked opposition. Steven is also the lowest-ranked player left in the competition.
Since it worked so well (lol) I'll shorten the time period to get more haste in getting games done. 10 days. Draw at 12:05am on Mon 2 Nov, **DEADLINE IS WED 11 NOV**.
