Dave Robjohns The gruelling journey begins. This is probably the longest event of the lot in terms of the sheer length of time you may need to play to get a medal - multiple hours poured in for some of us last year. 6 players passed 200 rounds in a game and over 4000 rounds were played.

It's important here to note that I'll be checking that games are completed in one sitting (i.e. nobody quits during a round and rejoins to avoid losing the round)

However, in the instance you've been sat there a while and are getting really bored of endless nice numbers, you can type "Pausing long jump at xxx rounds" in the main chat and come back to it later, after waiting 30 seconds. Note you must refresh/leave the room here.

This is all just to make sure there isn't any score doping going on!! I doubt anyone will, but good to be sure :)

Much like the actual long jump, your goal is to get as far as possible in this unwinnable game against Apterous Soap.

Here, you will get 3 attempts against Soap - the top 8 will qualify to get 3 more attempts in Round 2 next week (the highest from your 6 wins) [this is more like olympics]

I will put a comment up - nice it to get your remaining games removed (you can even do this before you play one, if you want...)
