Dave Robjohns Thanks for all the madness!

Notes from the organizer: Event 73 of these 'lympics was meant to be a spectacular race in the form of an Old Touch Junior CA - that wonderful format where dozens of us could get rapid 200s while half asleep. To medal in that last year, you needed 20 cons in 0.9s or less each!
However, the format has unfortunately been replaced by something a little less fun, and as a result, I've been working on a replacement. Various ideas didn't seem chaotic enough, until I decided on a teaser bonanza!
Some apterous bots will (carefully) undertake some Nice Blitz games, to dish out hundreds of chat teasers over a 30 minute period. Your job is to solve them quicker than everyone else, accumulating points for yourself and your nation - there will be medals available for individuals and countries. The winners will be the players who gain the most chat points over the period (so unrelated teasers & foreign languages etc are included)
The apterous scene is packed with events over the next few weeks, so this is something pretty light-hearted and quick for your weekend if you need a boost :) Will hopefully lead on nicely to Sam's quiz later in the evening.
To enter this tournament, simply sign-up in Aptochat this evening from 6:45-7pm, before we start the tournament at 7pm. We will be totting up scores at 7:30 exactly!
*Signing up on this page doesn't mean anything, this page is merely here to advertise the event & for me to track all the medals in one place afterwards*
