Philip Aston

Philip Aston Why do Zohaib and I have -1 (negative one) drawn games?

Dave Robjohns

Dave Robjohns 😂😂 I didn’t anticipate 14 players in a division when I made the spreadsheet so there’s a formula that hasn’t been copied down far enough, will fix shortly - thanks for spotting!

Dave Robjohns Hellooo
Two weeks to go & 25 games left so now is the time to start arranging games etc :)

Dave Robjohns

Dave Robjohns Hi all

A reminder that the season ends on Sunday night 30th October (note - *not* the end of the month)

Additionally, there's a vote on a small league change for next season - if you want to vote, it's at https://www.apterous.org/to_tourney.php?tourney=4459 - designed to help get a higher proportion of games played. (Not that that's an issue here lol)

Thanks!

Ahmed M

Ahmed M Well done Zohaib! 2 maxes to close the season out, worthy champ

Philip Aston

Philip Aston Great season, and congratulations to Zohaib (unlucky Ahmed!). Commiserations Patrick and Gulshan. The 1.5 season has worked well.

Dave Robjohns

Dave Robjohns Congratulations to Zohaib, who becomes the 11th champion of aptoleague! After finishing runner-up last season, Zohaib stepped up a level, with an unprecedented 3 max games this season, including beating runner-up Ahmed in the final game of the season. It's Ahmed's third podium in a row, but beating that is 3rd place Ronan with 4!

Overall the league managed the most completed games in a season ever (91), so thanks all for your efforts - who needs different rules to reward gameplay?!

D1 is always hotly contested, and at the other end of the table, we have another first: BOTH relegated players had a points total in double figures! It went down to the final few games to decide it, but unfortunately dropping down to D2 are Patrick, after 12 consecutive seasons up here, and Gulshan after 5. Thomas and Adam survived by a solitary point.

Thanks all for playing, and best of luck for Season 18!
