Dave Robjohns Thought I was being smart not declaring in rounds I didn't think I'd max in the first half, so I could easily match that score later and still get some maxes for the tiebreak... then re-read! | |
Ian Volante Gah, almost perfect apart from my attempt at AWAKENESS. Turns out I've made two of the four all-time attempts at that word now. |
Notes from the organizer: It's off to the pantomime now.
Oh no, it isn't!
Game Nine is a Beanstalk Letters Attack. Your task is to score the same number of points in the first 13 rounds as in the last 13 rounds. The player who does this with the highest score will win. The tie-break criterion will be the number of maxes you achieve in the first 13 rounds. Players who don't perform equally in the two halves will be ordered by percentage difference (so a player who scores {90,89} or {90,91} will beat a player who scores {80,79} or {80,81}, for example).
The BONUS TOURNAMENT POINT will be awarded to any player who scores at least 9 points in the final round.
