Tim Down Tried to do this as a nice distraction in the middle of stressful working day. Got cross and decided to jack the whole thing in. Talked myself into trying to salvage it. Lesson learned? Doubtful.
Matthew Tassier New stats category ...
| |
Piaras Last-Name Hopefully I'm not too far behind him :P
Matthew Tassier 3 players, including the new top cumulative scorer Elliott, hit 19 maxes for a 190 but none of them could complete the perfect game and they were pipped by a point for Strongest Link which this round goes to Tal.
Matthew Tassier The jump in difficulty this round left some players scrabbling for points, and out of the 4 players scoring in the 90s Robin was the fortunate survivor finishing ahead of Adrian on margin of victory. This means Adrian, Piaras and Tony you are the Weakest Links. Goodbye! |
Notes from the organizer: Round 9 is the first journey this year to hyperland as you will take on Apterous Nude in a Hypertouch format game. Nude will choose just 1 large number, which can be awkward sometimes, and will rarely solve a round, having a high score of just 47.
Some stats for this round:
Expected competitors: 48
Weakest Links required: 3
Most hypertouch WL max games: 2 - Chris Butler
Highest score: 200 - Chris Butler, Edward Ashcroft
Highest scoring Weakest Link: 150 - Tom Cappleman (2021), Gevin Chapwell (2019)
Lowest scoring survivor: 80 - Ciaran Crawley (2017)
For more stats see spreadsheet linked below.
The THREE lowest scoring players will leave the tournament this round. If there is a tie for lowest scores then margin of victory/defeat will be taken into account amongst tied players followed, if necessary, by total score in the tournament so far (see notes by matches below).
