Anan Nathan

Anan Nathan do we organise the game ourselves in this tournament?

Andy SC

Andy SC @Anan - Once sign-ups close I'll add the games to the tournament page. You then play the games when yourself and opponent is online. Alternatively you can arrange times to play as well. Whatever suits.

Tourney round: Everything Counts XI: Sign-ups

Round Robin >>

Notes from the organizer: It's that time of year again. Yup that's right, time for Apterous's largest tournament (For number of fixtures that is) - Everything Counts. If you like lots of games then this is the tournament for you.

Everything Counts returns for it's 11th edition. Here's an explanation of how it works.

Everything Counts XI is a Round Robin tournament where everybody plays everybody in a 9-rounder game (never actually happens but there's always the possibility for it to happen for the first time). Players will score points in the following way:
- 4-points for each win
- 2-points for each draw
- 1-point for scoring 70+ points
- 1-point for losing by 10 or less points

Depending how many people enter the tournament will depend how many people advance to the knockout stage. Normally it is 32-players. In round 1 of the knockout stage if 32-players are in the knockout stage then 1st in the round robin stage will play 32nd, 2nd will play 31st and so on. All matches up to and including the Semi Final in the knockout stage will be Standard 9 Best-of-3 all the way. The Grand Final will be Best-of-5 Standard 15 where the Everything Counts XI champion will be crowned.

The Round stage will start on the 1st January 2024 and will conclude on Sunday 11th February.

If you have any question please feel free to ask.

Ran from: 30 November – 31 December 2023. Format: 9 Rounder. Matches: One-off. Approved.
