Notes from the organizer: Welcome to the Apterous PGA Tour. We kick things off at the Farmers Insurance Open at the glorious Torrey Pines in California.

It’s a gentle start with a Tier 1 event, which is played over two 9-rounders.

Round 1 will be a Aegilops 9-rounder against Prune and scoring is relatively straightforward to ease you in to the season.

1. Any round where you get a max = birdie.
2. Any round where you don’t max, but score between 9-6 points = par.
3. Any round where you score between 5-1 points = bogey.
4. Any round you fail to score at all in (i.e. invalid word, dud numbers solve or no declaration at all) = double bogey.

Our defending champion from the 2023 season is in this event - Dave Robjohns will be hoping to make it two in a row in San Diego.
