Fiona T

Fiona T Hi Matthew, for the next 8 rounds is it that the sooner we send our choices, the sooner we get games? i.e. if we send choices today we get a game tomorrow, or is the next round starting 3 April regardless of when we send our choices? Cheers!

Matthew Tassier

Matthew Tassier Next round will start on the 3rd regardless of when you send your choices. That way there is no advantage to those leaving it late and seeing what others have done/chosen.

Matthew Tassier Or, indeed, the 4th of May.

Dave Kempshall May the force be with us in a brutal round.

Fi Thorne

Fi Thorne Chuffed to have made it to round 8, but German against Rex was a bridge too far! Thanks for organising a great tourney Matthew and good luck everyone! :-)

Matthew Tassier A few players took the chance to grab a nice pencil this round. Meanwhile, comfortable in the German environment, Thomas cruises to this round's Strongest Link accolade.

Matthew Tassier Another final game finish with Owen saved as Fi's run comes to an end at the hands of Rex. Fi, you are the Weakest Link. Goodbye!

Tourney round: Weakest Link Mayhem - PYO Bot: Round 8 - German 15

<< Round 7 - Unlimited Blitz | Round 9 - Greek 9 >>

Notes from the organizer: To conclude the first set of 8 rounds, it's the first foreign language test as the players take on a German 15 rounder. There's a real dichotomy of choices here with Prune being the most picked bot, followed by Rex!

You have up to 4 days to play your game. One lowest scoring Weakest Link will be eliminated from the tournament this round. If there is a tie for lowest score then the tied players will be split according to their tournament total points as seen in the notes below. Should that also be tied then there will be multiple eliminations. However, any players failing to play their game within the time limit will definitely be eliminated, taking the Weakest Link spot.
