Dave Robjohns Want to clarify that invalid words are also ignored, I will only count your first 10 valid words which have an obscurity score.

Dave Robjohns I've judged the first 31 dances, although please feel free to double check your scores as I did start to get bored of my 6 & 7 times tables.

Dave Robjohns Event 4 of 100:

Notes from the organizer: Breaking is a brand new Olympic sport for 2024. Breaking will see breakers face off in 1-1 battles with a variety of moves, improvising along to a DJ's music, and is fully scored by judges.
I want you to improvise and find the most obscure words you can, using an extra letter provided by the touchdown jnr format. Rather than judge them myself, I'll be using lexplorer.
Scoring will work as the obscurity score lexplorer gives multiplied by the length of the word. For example, "BRONZE" is worth 48 points, with 8% obscurity and 6 length. You'd be better off opting for "BONZER" which scored 67% obscurity and 402 points!
Some words don't have obscurity scores. These will be ignored - I will simply pick your first 10 scoring words.
In July, we'll repeat this event but with Touchdown rules - allowing 9 letter words.
Good luck! Scores will be added here https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1_7LILrEOFh2Uv5h1NhEpGVeP1Q4oXlroPXGfaHgVwk8/edit?gid=848861980#gid=848861980 although they may be updated only sporadically.
