Dan Spinks

Dan Spinks how does the steal work? how do we know whose score we're getting?

Andy SC

Andy SC Steal will work where you swap scores with somebody (that's not scored the same amount of points as you in the round). So essentially stealing their score. I will post who steals what in each round once each round is complete.

David Holmes

David Holmes Does the steal mean that somebody swaps their score with yours, or that that match it?

Andy SC

Andy SC @David - Anybody that use the steal card will swap their score with another player.

Mike Lee

Mike Lee Perhaps I’m asking the obvious, but you will be stealing a score that is higher than the one that you yourself recorded?

Andy SC

Andy SC @Mike - You will be stealing a score.

Tourney round: Bot Luck: 2024: Sign-ups

2024: Round 1 >>

Notes from the organizer: In this tournament players will play 15-games over various formats with a new game becoming available each day from the 26th August. However, players will have a bot randomly assigned to them each round. You could get Rex 15-times or Prune 15-times, hence the name BOT LUCK.

Here's how scoring will work. The highest scoring player will get a number of points dependent on how many players sign-up. For example if there is 50-players, the highest player will get 50-points, 2nd 49-points and so on with 50th getting 1-point.

BONUS POINTS:
5-points will be awarded for achieving a max game at any point. 3-points for getting a pencil at any point. Each round will also have a hidden bonus point feature that will award 1-point for every time it is achieved.

JOKER CARD:
Players will pick a round from 1-15 to use their joker card in. For example if a player plays their joker card in Round 7 and scores 50-points, they will then get 100-points.

STEAL CARD:
Like the joker card, players will pick a round from 1-15 to use their steal card. This will result in the player getting someone else's score for the round. Players will only be able to get the score of someone that is not using their joker or steal card for the round that they select it for. The steal card will not affect any bonus points achieved.

JOKER AND STEAL CARDS MUST BE USED IN DIFFERENT ROUNDS.

Formats being played will be revealed once the tournament starts.
