Matthew Tassier 25 max games this round, and 5 players maintain a maximal total with 600/600 so far, including Dave R. who is the Strongest Link for the second consecutive round.
Matthew Tassier With Fi and Fiona tied on 165, Fi survives thanks to her bigger margin of victory here. This means two players unfortunately leave us in their earliest departures from WL Nums. Elizabeth and Fiona, you are the Weakest Links. Goodbye!
Fiona T Sad times! Thanks for organising! |
Notes from the organizer: Round three in this year's tournament will be played in Unlimited Junior format against Apterous Caesar. This is similar to the standard Junior variant except there are two available large numbers, 10 and 20. Caesar likes to pick 2 large, and will solve quite a lot of rounds. One quirk of this format is that if 20 is your target then to get your 10 points you must still do a calculation even if there is a 20 in the selection. (e.g. do 20*1 or 20+3-3 or 4*5 etc.)
Some stats for this round:
Expected competitors: 65
Weakest Links required: 2
Previous max games: 150
Most WL max games in this format: 7 - Elliott Mellor
Most WL points scored in this format: 1584 - Gevin Chapwell
Previous rounds vs this bot: 2019 - Round 1 ( https://www.apterous.org/to_tourney.php?tourney=2326 ), 2022 - Round 3 ( https://www.apterous.org/to_tourney.php?tourney=4374 )
For more stats see spreadsheet linked below.
TWO lowest scoring Weakest Links will be removed from the tournament this round. If there is a tie for lowest scores then margin of victory/defeat will be taken into account amongst tied players followed, if necessary, by total score in the tournament so far (see notes by matches).
