Tourney round: Hunger Games: Sign-ups Proper
Notes from the organizer: Elimination tourneys are popular here, but this one is a bit meaner! No longer will strong players be guaranteed safe passage in the early rounds.
Players will play conundrum attacks against each other, with each round a random draw. If there is an odd number of players remaining, a bot chosen by me will step up to the fold (neither Prune nor Rex). The lowest scorer in each round is eliminated. If there is a tie, player(s) will be eliminated (uniformly) at random.
Each round will have a different variant. Every 5 rounds there will be a variant that is not 30 seconds or not English. One eliminee per round, unless popularity necessitates 2 eliminees in the earlier rounds.
5 days to play each round - organise matches via aptomail. If you fail to make an effort to play your match within the 5 days (extensions granted if need be) then you will be eliminated.
Runs from: 21 September – 21 October 2024. Format: 15 Rounder. Matches: One-off. Approved.
