Tourney round: EFL Championship 24/25 (reboot): Sign-ups
Notes from the organizer: We are rebooting the EFL Championship (to assist M S R as he doesn't have to time to run the original one) with a slightly different approach to fixtures and we have some available teams.
If we get over 20 members, we’ll go ahead with bots filling the gaps. We have 14 signed up already, so that leaves 10 available managerial places.
Same format as always Champions League format with goals scored for winning matches with a max. Everyone will play everyone home and away throughout the season as per the real world.
The only catch is I’ll be uploading fixtures in two batches. The first half of the season (asap) where everyone plays everyone once. And then the second half of the season (1st Feb) where the reverse home / away matches take place. This will give you 3 1/2 months to play 23 games twice.
I’d advise that people don’t take it too seriously and just play their fixtures whenever they see an opponent online as it seems that delaying until “you feel ready” is one of the biggest reasons games don’t get played - it’s only a bit of fun after all.
