Tourney round: Everything Counts XII: Sign-up page

Sign-up page (2) >>

Notes from the organizer: It's almost that time of year again for Apterous number one tournament in terms of number of fixtures - EVERYTHING COUNTS XII

Everything Counts XI had a record number of participants - 85. Can we beat that record this year? Only time will tell.

For anybody that is unfamiliar with Everything Counts here's how it works:

Everything Counts starts with a massive Round Robin tournament where everybody plays everybody (never actually happens) but a good chunk of games do get played. Players get 6-weeks to play their Round Robin games which will be Standard 9 games and once this stage is done, so many players will advance to the knockout stages. The number advancing will depend on how many sign-up. Points for the Round Robin stage are achieved as follows:

- 4 points for a win
- 2 points for a draw
- 1 bonus point for scoring 70+ points
- 1 bonus point for losing by 10 points or less

In the knockout stages, the bracket will be seeded based on where players finish in the Round Robin stage, i.e. 1 v 32, 2, 31, 3 v 30 and so on if it's a 32-player knockout. Each game up to and including the Semi Final in the Knockouts will be Standard 9 Best-of-3. The Grand Final will be Standard 15 Best-of-5.

That's all for now. If anybody has any questions, please feel free to ask.
