Ravi Choudhary

Ravi Choudhary This is the situation as it stands:

Dan Spinks - the last remaining player to play for 15V on this task - scored 47.

It means that for Triple A+ to win this task, Dave Robjohns, Jase Cullen, Matthew Tassier and Richard Decker must score between themselves 576 points (an average of 144 points per player).

Anything less, victory will go to 15V.

Dan Spinks

Dan Spinks I won't lie Mark, I was pleased when I saw your score as knew it was in the ballpark of what I'd be getting

Ravi Choudhary

Ravi Choudhary Quick Recap: With Dave R and Richard scoring 141 and 105 respectively, it now means that Matthew T and Jase must score 330 points between themselves for Triple A+ to win this task.

(141+105 = 246; 576 - 246 = 330).

However, if either player scores less than 130, then 15V will win the task, even if the other player were to score a maximum of 200 points.

Ravi Choudhary

Ravi Choudhary With Jase scoring 105 in his game, less than the 130 points needed for Triple A+ to still be in contention, 15V wins the task before Matthew Tassier got to play his game.

The win for 15V was assured when Jase was unable to get Coheiress in Round 13, meaning the best score he could get after that round was 121 points.

Martin Thomas

Martin Thomas It was very close in the Boardroom but Anthony survived by getting just one more point than Mark.

Therefore, thank you for playing but

👉 Mark, you're fired!

Mark O'Regan

Mark O'Regan Thanks Martin - fun tournament and good luck to the other candidates!

Tourney round: The Apprentice: Task 10 (Goatdown CA)

<< Task 9 (Touchdown Jnr LA) | Task 11 (Omelette LA) >>

Notes from the organizer: Your tenth task will be a Goatdown Conundrum Attack against Prune.

Initially only 8 letters are shown. Only one 9 letter word can be made by adding an extra letter to these 8, and this is the required answer. After 30 seconds the missing letter is revealed and an extra 15 seconds is added. However solving the conundrum during this extra time is only worth 7 points.

The team-leader and two lowest scorers from the losing team will be invited to the Boardroom. Anyone tied for a lowest score will also be invited.

Good Luck!
