Thomas Carey

Thomas Carey prob the best quali+race combo i'll get all tourney and i still can't beat that darned cappleman

Trevor Potts

Trevor Potts Yeah I know TCaps having a good season but I would have thought a 0.0s quali and a max game race would be enough. Apparently not

Dan Spinks

Dan Spinks it's just like Dave Kempshall wrote recently on another page- "The reality is the same as every tournament, we will all have some good rounds, then some bad rounds… and then Tom C wins". he's just golden

Trevor Potts

Trevor Potts Deadline day for this race!

Trevor Potts Race summary:

Formula Apterous:
After a perfect qualifying session, Thomas put in a very strong drive but still not enough to win thanks to incredible performances from TCap and Chris. TCap claimed the win to maintain his perfect start to the season GP wise, and Chris solidified his position as main challenger for the Driver's Championship by taking second.

Thomas still secured a podium position though which was enough for him to take 3rd place in the championship also, overtaking Trevor who had a race to forget. Elsewhere, Dan and Hazel both drove very well to gain several positions and score good points for Sauber and Haas, respectively.

Trevor Potts Formula Dipterous:

Several superb performances here, including racewinner Ross taking victory from a middle of the pack start, Dan getting a podium finish after starting plum last, Stephen scoring some great points for Campos, and Richard cutting through to pack to just miss out on 5th place.

Jason was unlucky today having two wing-damaging crashes which prevented him from making any gains.

Adam Latchford

Adam Latchford I think I might just be dumb but where exactly within the links to rules and standings can you see a breakdown of who came in which position for a particular race?

Adam Latchford

Adam Latchford Ah navigated it now. Via the about page.

Trevor Potts

Trevor Potts Yeah sorry it's not super easy to find. I intend to put together a sort of table of season results and maybe a HTML lookup tool on the site where you can choose an individual and look up their results (because let's be honest everyone just wants to see how they have done themselves, or any big fans of the number 1 can look up T-Cap instead)

Fi Thorne

Fi Thorne Do you crash if you don't guess at all, or only if you guess incorrectly?

Dave Kempshall

Dave Kempshall Incorrectly only I think Fi. So if you really are guessing, then might be best to let it pass by. Depends how confident your guess is.

Trevor Potts

Trevor Potts That's right, only guessing incorrectly incurs a crash chance.

Tourney round: Formula Apterous World Championship 2025: 4. Bahrain GP - Race

<< 5. Saudi GP - Qualifying | 5. Saudi GP - RACE >>

Notes from the organizer: https://sites.google.com/view/formulaapterous for links to standings and rules.

No surprises as a Dry race is expected for Bahrain, so we're back to mandatory pit stops. Recommended stop window for the default Soft-Medium strategy is lap 8 or 9.

Thomas starts on pole in Formula Apterous with a Q3 time of, erm, 0.0 seconds. Adam joins him on the front row.

Wesley starts the Formula Dipterous GP on pole ahead of Andy, so potential in both categories for gains to be made on the series leaders, although overtaking delta here is low at 1.2.

One-week deadline as always. Good luck!

Ran from: 6 – 13 April 2025. Format: Conundrum Attack. Matches: One-off. Approved.
