Player list

The Player list shows all players with a full rating, ranked in order of that rating, and with their wins/games record shown too.

The list also includes the bots, although they are marked in italic text.

User search

Use the User search to look for a specific player; search for part of his or her name, and you'll be presented with all matching results for the search term. The results table shows player picture (if available), player type, games played, and current rating. You can choose when searching whether or not to include players who have not yet played a game.

Quick user search

You can also find a player with the User search bar in the top-right corner of every page on the apterous website (when you are logged in). [/url] As you type, an interactive list of results will appear, and narrow itself down as you keep typing. Just click on ( or use your keyboard to choose) any player name in the interactive results to go straight to their player profile page. Pressing the Go button will search for users in the normal way, as per the User search page.

Head-to-head

Head-to-head analysis is only available to apterous+ members.

Choose two players from the drop-down menus (by default, your own name will be on the left, and the current highest-ranked human player on the right), and press the Go head-to-head button to display the results.

The results are broken into three sections:

• A summary of the total wins for each player.
• A breakdown by format, featuring average scores, top scores, and biggest wins.
• A game list of all the individual results, with links to game pages.
