Zarte Siempre That was awful. That'll be gone, calling it now. Cheers for hosting Matthew! :)
Matthew Tassier Much too early to call! Could go either way
Chris Butler I made a balls of it too. Waitress came with my food in R4 so I didn't even manage to declare in that round! Satisfied with my recovery but just hoping that others run into problems too! ;)
Gevin Chapwell If I get through to here, I'll make sure I don't play in a restaurant.
Thomas Carey You're not the only one in this round who could do with that advice http://i.imgur.com/r9z8AR3.jpg
Chris Butler Lol, I do most of my best apteriting in cafes I'll have you know! Played the Spoilage final of last years tourney in McDonalds and January's Octolock Nums final in my local cafe. Today's venue of choice is clearly just bad luck for me, I played my shakey Hyper Bullet round there too, I should've learnt...
Gevin Chapwell Playing the waiting game, but I would regard that as a save after an appalling first half, completely chucking away round 2 in particular.
Zarte Siempre I'm even more gutted at this point. I thought I would be way off, but one round was a misclicked max. I thought 144 would be just as much of a goner :( Gah :(
Gevin Chapwell 6 small on bullet is really tough though. Anyway, Jamie has scored lower than you, so you're only after one more now!
Jamie French Mine was horrendous. I knew I'd have to get all of my picks, but only managed 7. I fear the worst.
Gevin Chapwell There's a lot of randomness to it. I got 90 in one of my practice goes. I remember last year moaning about a lot of my rounds until I got knocked out. So far, I think I've had more luck on my side this year!
Tom Cappleman I got you a birthday present Zarte
Zarte Siempre Ooft. Thanks T-Cap. You're definitely my favourite Thomas Ca in this round.
Sean Fletcher out of interest, what are CTRL shortcuts?
Zarte Siempre ctrl+space = declare exact target
| |
Sean Fletcher that's good to know. the amount of times I've seen a target late and only had time to press 2 buttons. should be useful in future
Matthew Tassier Rahul nips in at the last with his 160 to leave Thomas Carey still awaiting his first ever Strongest Link title, while Chris remains a few points ahead of Zarte in cumulative points.

Matthew Tassier And more strong players leave, last years finalist Thomas Cappleman and 6th place finisher Jamie both fall just short here. Thomas and Jamie you are the Weakest Links, Goodbye!
Jamie French Cheers Matthew, great fun again. Looking forward to the next one.
Thomas Carey :(
| |
Tom Cappleman Thanks Matthew, enjoyed this once agian.
Matthew Tassier You're welcome, chaps. |
Notes from the organizer: We're already at round twenty which will be a Bullet Numbers Attack against Apterous Plum. Plum's selection of choice is the awkward 6 small numbers, but in bullet he may well fail to max a round. If you wish to declare away from the exact target you are recommended to use the CTRL shortcuts.
The two lowest scoring players in this round will leave the tournament. If there is a tie for lowest scores then margin of victory/defeat will be taken into account amongst tied players followed, if necessary, by total score in the tournament so far (see notes by matches).
Congratulations to the final 9 who've made it through a tough field to get this far.
