| Matt Morrison Even if it's the shittest tournament ever, it still deserves to be finished, and I'd like to close the fucking book on it too. I agree it's pretty awkward that James will be through to the final after losing in the quarter final, but at this point the way it's worked out there's no other possible final as I see it. I'll certainly take a bunch of the credit for not chasing people up enough but I've also been pretty unlucky with dropouts this time round, which I guess is always a potential problem with long-form tournaments. |

 | Philip Aston I think the problem is that quite a lot of decent players use Apterous as a training aid to prepare for the show. Once they’ve finished a Series or a Championship of Champions, most don’t feel the burning urge to come on here and train anymore, particularly if they’ve achieved their goals and have nothing else to prove. They’re done.
