Tourney round: Apterous Football League Cup: 2019: Round 5 - Semi Finals

<< 2019: Round 4 - Quarter Finals | 2019: Round 6 - Final >>

Notes from the organizer: We move on now and into the semi finals!

Luke Johnson-Davies beat 2nd-ranked Hazel Drury in the last round, which would have been the only upset if it hadn't been for Robin M beating Bradley Horrocks on a tie-break conundrum. The four players left were ranked 3rd, 4th, 9th, and 14th at the start of the tournament. That makes the current holder, Luke Johnson-Davies, the favourite, although Thomas Carey is not far behind. Robin M is the 3rd-ranked player left, whereas James Robinson, who was ranked 14th at the start of the tournament, is the rank outsider.

We had a full set of fixtures completed for once (I know!) so no adjudication needs to be made here.

The ball numbers and the draw shall take place shortly.

Given the lacklustre efforts made to get games done, I'm keeping the deadline at 2 weeks, so you have until **SUN 3 NOV**.

Who will make the final?

Ran from: 21 October – 3 November 2019. Format: 15 Rounder. Matches: One-off. Approved.

Organizers: Rhys Benjamin.

Fixtures: 2. Completed: 2.
