Elwin Carlos Time to dig deep into my German word bank, consisting solely of the numbers 1, 2, 3, 4, the words for a/and, as well as random guesses based on the names of German footballers.
Paul Thomas Let's see how my B grade GCSE from 1998 holds up.... Ich gehe gerne ins Kino
Stu Harkness Just the 14 Waldorf Maxes in that one...
Paul Thomas I went into the final round on 4 points, but pulled out an uncontested 'CREMES' to avoid being the weakest link.
Stu Harkness 3 uncontested is difficult, well in!
Paul Thomas Thank you! | |
Jamie French Pissed it, so to speak.
Stu Harkness Not your dictionary though is it?! :D
Jamie French Nein Stu, nein

Sean D Wie komme ich am besten xum Bahnhof bitte?
Matthew Tassier Nehmen sie die erste strasse links Sean, und gehen sie geradeaus.
Matthew Tassier A range of successful survival strategies here, including just using the numbers 1-4, going for two letter words and even just pretending it's English. However a few of you knew what you were doing with good games from Chris and Marcus and a very strong 71 from Strongest Link Thomas.
Matthew Tassier This time it's Rhys with the lucky escape courtesy of no-shows. Dan B. and Gary you are the Weakest Links. Goodbye!
Dan Byrom poops :(

Notes from the organizer: Did I mention that foreign variants were fair game in a Mayhem tournament? Surely I must have done. So, round 4's challenge is a German letters attack against Waldorf. If your German isn't strong then some inspired guessing or taking advantage of any missed rounds from Waldorf look like strong options for getting you on the scoreboard.
One lowest scoring Weakest Link will leave the tournament this round. If there is a tie for lowest score then total score in the tournament so far will be the deciding factor (See notes by players' names).
