Gevin Chapwell

Gevin Chapwell Well that was a disaster. See you next year.

Chris Butler

Chris Butler Don't be so sure of that Gevin! Plum is mean here. I'm only 4 raw points behind Jack, but a whole 34 points off him in the game :/

Gevin Chapwell

Gevin Chapwell I'm on a similar raw score so I suppose was a bit unlucky, but mainly I played badly. Don't play late at night.

Gevin Chapwell

Gevin Chapwell Jack also had 17 maxes so wasn't at the mercy of Plum in the same way as us.

Darren Godfrey

Darren Godfrey Happy with a top 20 finish! Thanks for running, Matthew :)

Chris Butler

Chris Butler I will be too Darren, let's hope we both qualify to ensure that we are top 20 :)

Gevin Chapwell Yeah, we are looking at 21, 22, 23 as things stand.

Chris Butler

Chris Butler Thanks for hosting Matthew, immaculate as always! Looking forward to next years already

Matthew Tassier

Matthew Tassier Tom managed only the second ever Omelette WL max game, quite an achievement against Plum and enough for him to take over as top cumulative scorer this year as well as earning him the Strongest Link title for the 3rd time in an Omelette round.

Matthew Tassier

Matthew Tassier This round we lose our first former chamion, and indeed 2 of the 4 all-time highest scoring WL Numbers players, with Chris and Gevin both having reasonable scores spoiled by Plum. It's a best ever finish for Darren, albeit just outside the top 20. So, Gevin, Chris and Darren you are the Weakest Links. Goodbye!

Gevin Chapwell

Gevin Chapwell Thanks for running Matthew! See you all next year!

Tourney round: Weakest Link Numbers Tournament 2023: Round 17 - Omelette

<< Round 16 - Bullet Hyper | Round 18 - Nasty >>

Notes from the organizer: Round seventeen will be played in Omelette format against Apterous Plum. Make sure you use all 6 numbers in your solution and bear in mind that the rules allow you to use up some of the numbers in "dead ends". Plum will choose 6 small numbers and tend to erratically either give a perfect solution or (more often) not declare at all.

Some stats for this round:
Expected competitors: 23
Weakest Links required: 3
Highest score: 200 - Bradley Horrocks
Most Omelette Strongest Links: 2 - Bradley Horrocks & Tom Cappleman
Highest scoring Omelette Weakest Link: 169 - Chris Butler (2021) & Sam Cappleman-Lynes (2020)
Previous rounds vs this bot: 2016 - Round 20 ( https://www.apterous.org/to_tourney.php?tourney=1699 )
For more stats see spreadsheet linked below.

The THREE lowest scoring players will leave the tournament this round. If there is a tie for lowest scores then margin of victory/defeat will be taken into account amongst tied players followed, if necessary, by total score in the tournament so far (see notes by matches below).
