Dave Robjohns Wheels fell off a bit, started looking for some very whacky routes on a couple of easier targets! But hey, I love a finish in the 4120s :D

Chris Butler A misclick on a simple R4 is a sure fire way to pile on the pressure in a game where 190 is the target. I was playing well enough in practise, but nerves got to me in the end. I think I've been riding my luck for long enough anyway, happy with 4th place and to avoid Spoilage, hehe.

Elliott Mellor Well you get to ride your luck further Chris, Prime played fractionally worse against you! Best of luck in the final everyone.
Chris Butler Ouch, very unlucky there. I feel bad going through on such a tie break when you have way more tournament points than I do!
Matthew Tassier As 4 players break through the 4000 point barrier, Tal roars into his first final on the back of a Strongest Link performance 10 points clear of the top cumulative scorer this year, Tom.
Matthew Tassier Dave finishes in 5th place this year, just one point short of his twice-achieved personal best total. And in 4th place missing out to Chris very unluckily on the tiebreak and leaving as the highest scoring Bullet Hyper WL ever, it's former champion Elliott. So Elliott and Dave you are the Weakest Links. Goodbye! |
Notes from the organizer: It's time for the penultimate round, where just 5 players remain to take on Prime in a Bullet Hyper game. Prime will choose 3 large numbers, which should gave you some options and he won't solve most of the rounds, which is fortunate as you've only got 3 seconds and some large targets to aim for.
Some stats for this round:
Expected competitors: 5
Weakest Links required: 2
Historic average score: 147.54
Highest Bullet Hyper WL score: 200 - Sam Cappleman-Lynes, Rahul Suresh
Most Bullet Hyper points scored: 1230 - Tom Cappleman
Highest scoring Weakest Links: 140 - Sam Shepherd, Barry Evans (2021), Phil Collinge (2017), Mervyn Tong (2016)
For more stats see spreadsheet linked below.
The TWO lowest scoring players will leave the tournament this round. If there is a tie for lowest scores then margin of victory/defeat will be taken into account amongst tied players followed, if necessary, by total score in the tournament so far (see notes by matches below).
