Adam Latchford Three different vowels = different to each other or just three vowels? I assume the former
Adam Latchford also i really enjoy that this round is heavily suggesting you should NOT play REL***ONS. more of that thanks andy
Dave Kempshall Also on vowels. What if you use four / five different vowels? Is that OK is it a case of three or more different vowels?
Andy SC @Adam and @Dave - If option 2 is the scoring option, DOGGIER would not be fine as that has three different vowels. ARSEHOLE would also not be fine as it has three different vowels. You would be able to use three vowels in a word under option 2 but one of them would need to be repeated. Hopefully that clears it up.
Adam Latchford So to be 100% clear, squeezed is fine (four vowels but only two unique ones) but relations is very very bad?
Dave Kempshall Yes, my question is around RELATIONS (four different vowels) and FACETIOUS (five).
Andy SC SQUEEZED, RELATIONS, FACETIOUS would all be fine. If three unique vowels are used in any word it would not be ok.

Tom Cappleman Should have definitely waited for that answer - was so confident that it'd be the case that 4 or 5 distinct would count as using 3 (as you pass 3 on the way)
Dave Kempshall There's a 2/3 chance that this conversation is completely irrelevant anyway Tom ;)
Tom Cappleman Yes, but I deliberately avoided 4 vowel words that it turns out would have been safe for every option
Andy SC Option 3 was the scoring method for this round. Scores based on that method are:

Andy SC Top 5 after day 20:

Notes from the organizer: Day 20 is a Letters Attack
Option 1: Your word score will doubled for every word that doesn't use any of the following letters: R, S, T
Option 2: For every time you use three different vowels in a word, it will count as a double negative score
Option 3: If the first letter of the selection is the first letter of your word and the last letter of the selection is the last letter of your word, you will receive double points for that word
