Trevor Potts Race Summary Formula Apterous:

Thomas and Dan, starting from P4 and P5 respectively, cut through the field to take P1 and P2 respectively on lap 4. Polesitter Chris recovered to P2 for the penultimate lap before a mistake from Thomas allowed Chris to reclaim P1 across the line. Tom limited the damage from his qualifying mishap to secure a strong 2nd place. Matt completed the podium and Dan still did well to hold on to P4. The biggest loser was Trevor, dropping down to 6th place from his P3 start.

Aston Martin were the only team to score points with both drivers as Florence and Matty claimed the last two points-paying positions. Tom's Mercedes teammate Dave R was the next best performer after him in terms of positions gained, finishing P11 from a P15 start.

Championship wise, the biggest gainers were Matt taking third place from Trevor, and Sauber jumping up to 7th place in the Constructors as elsewhere teams and drivers largely held place.

Trevor Potts Race Summary Formula Dipterous:

A dominant lights-to-flag victory for Ross, much like Lewis Hamilton's drive in the real Chinese sprint race. Ross started onb pole and crossed the line 70 seconds ahead of anyone else.

Behind him, Steven had a great drive to take P2 from a P12 start, and Andy's soft tyre strategy worked out for him to complete the podium.

Highlights elsewhere included an excellent drive from Stephen to score a point in P8 from a P15 start, and Sarah was unlucky to miss out on the points, gaining five places to finish ninth.

ART and Campos scored points with both drivers, which moved Campos off the bottom of the pile in the Constructors Championship and allowed ART to cut Prema's lead to just 4 points.

Notes from the organizer: It's time for the first sprint race of the season!

Just ten laps in a sprint race and NO PIT STOPS. So simply try to solve all your conundrums as quickly as you can but, fair warning: I have tweaked the crash chance calculation as I think I undercooked it last time. So be careful on getting too many conundrums wrong too hastily as it could cost you!

By default all cars here will use the Medium tyre as Potterelli's (my) calculations show it is the faster tyre over 10 laps. However, if you wish to choose the Soft tyre instead to gain some off-the-line speed advantage at the cost of a higher multiplier late in the race, as always you must let me know BEFORE you play your game.
