Adam Latchford You can breathe now Fi :)
Matthew Tassier 28 max games is a record for a Nice round with Maria leading the way as the Strongest Link, making it two rounds in a row that we've had a first time SL.
Matthew Tassier A very tight battle to avoid elimination this round and a few had nervous waits, with Darren, Thomas and M S R finally surviving by just 3 points. This leaves Bailey and last round's Strongest Link Elwin as the two unlucky ones to just miss out. Bailey and Elwin you are the Weakest Links. Goodbye!
Elwin Carlos Thanks Matt! Short but sweet ride!
Maria Chandler Ooh thanks Matthew ☺️ |
Notes from the organizer: Round two and still easing you in with a game in Nice format up against Apterous Nude. With targets (51-500) in Nice guaranteed to be achievable without needing to use all the available numbers this format is fairly friendly. Nude shouldn't get it your way too much, missing the majority of exact solutions and picking 1 large number.
Some stats for this round:
Expected competitors: 66+
Weakest Links required: 2
Historic Nice average score: 188.06
Previous Nice max games: 136
Most previous Nice max games: 7 - Sean D
Highest average score (this year's entrants): 200 - Sean D (7 games), Elliott Mellor (6 games), Dave Robjohns (3 games), Bailey Cowell (1 game)
For more stats see spreadsheet linked below.
The TWO lowest scoring players will leave the tournament this round. If there is a tie for lowest scores then margin of victory/defeat will be taken into account amongst tied players followed, if necessary, by total score in the tournament so far (see notes by matches).
