Notes from the organizer: It's time for Game Nine. Are you having fun yet?
I'm giving you a Junior Numbers Attack, but I'm taking away half of the tools in your arithmetical tool-box. Your task is to score as many points as possible whilst using only addition and multiplication. Most points wins. The first tie-break criterion is most maxes achieved in this way, the second is most one-off-the-maxes, and so on. Any further ties will be resolved at my sole discretion.
The BONUS TOURNAMENT POINT for this round will be awarded to any player who never uses the number 9 at any stage of any calculation. (Note: I mean specifically the number 9, not the digit 9. For example, you may declare or use 19 and still get the BTP, but if you make 19 by doing 10+9, you won't. Be aware that doing something like 2+7+1 will result in Apterous reporting your method as 2+7=9, 9+1=10, so order your calculations carefully.)
If you have any questions about the rules, scoring, or anything else pertaining to this tourney, please feel free to ask.
